Growth Marketing Intern

With the world in flux, we find ourselves with a vital and exciting growth opportunity: to expand our offering beyond our London locations, and make Luminary known and loved all across the UK.

We are now looking for a bright and brilliant growth marketer to focus on optimising Luminary’s online
presence, brand recognition and customer experience, in order to drive multi-channel engagement, and
ultimately, sales.

The role is flexible and designed to fit around study (e.g. a degree or MBA) or other work commitments,
and we will keep you fuelled with a free barista coffee every day you are in the office!

Role: Growth Marketing Intern

Salary: Voluntary

Work Locations: Working from home, with site visits to Camden or Stoke Newington as required

Duration: A minimum commitment of 6 months

Reports to: Commercial Director


  • Campaign creation and management, with a focus on paid and owned social advertising and subsequent A/B testing and analysis

  • Optimising marketing campaigns across all channels, and measuring engagement and success rates

  • Organic growth strategy research, development and execution

  • Fine tuning and implementing the Luminary marketing strategy, ensuring it tracks closely to our KPIs and has an impact on our sales

  • Define and track key growth metrics (e.g. CAC, conversion rate, churn rate, repeat customers, abandoned cart data) and come up with suggestions for how these can be improved

  • SEO testing and improvement

  • Analysing live sales and performance data to inform ongoing marketing decisions and campaigns, regularly reporting in to the Commercial Director with informed suggestions and recommendations


  • Driven, diligent and highly motivated with strong initiative

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Tech-savvy, proficient with G-Suite, Mailchimp & other relevant software

  • Commercially minded and able to deliver tangible outcomes for the business

  • Experience working in a strategy, data, growth, marketing or other relevant business environment

  • Confident understanding and drawing conclusions from data sets; including the ability to extract data from the back-end of systems like Shopify and MailChimp

  • Passionate about using their skills to further the Luminary mission, and confident working in a social impact-focused environment

  • Flexible and able to accommodate changing priorities as Luminary grows

  • Right to work or volunteer in the UK
